All tenants must pay a deposit when arriving to the apartment they have rented. The amount of the deposit will depend on the conditions of the property established in each municipality, normally, the deposit corresponds to the amount of one monthly payment. Once you ?nish your stay and the landlord has checked that the ?at is without any damages, the deposit will be returned. Depending on the conditions each ?at, it may be a cleaning clause, by which X money will be deducted from the deposit in cleaning concept (if so, it will be speci?ed in the rental contract). The amount of the deposit cannot be used to pay any monthly payment, the deposit will be returned with the conditions agreed with the owner once the stay is ?nished.
